Amazing Scams And Phishing!

Kia ora, this week in Te Ngahere we have been learning what to do when a pop up or a scam pops up on your chromebook. Whaea Chrissy and Whaea Becks (our teachers) had set us up a google slide presentation for us to work on. On the presentation we had a picture and it was either of a pop up or a email and we had to write if we thought it was legit or fake and the reasons why it’s legit or fake. How you can tell if its legit or fake is because you have to look at the lock in the corner. If it has a red line in it it’s not safe. If it has no line in it’s safe. Also if a pop up does come up on your screen and it says you need to download something DON’T click download because your teachers already download everything on your computer. The keep yourself safe all you need to do is email your teacher/teachers if anything unusual pops up, and make sure you don’t put personal information in dodgy sights and things.
